First time customer that was fortunate to get a Friday appointment 3 hrs. before closing. Tamara was gentle with my tender scalp and gave me a fabulous full weave. The shop is clean and pretty in pink. The atmosphere is a Christian one welcoming all ethnic groups & is disability accessible. The results were worth my 1 hour commute.

It was my first time at this place to do a sew in.They told me 120 on the phone . When I arrived the lady who did my hair asked whether I would want the hair hot curl, I say yes, to which she didn't tell me the additional price knowing it was my first time. Anyway I pay a total of 145.00 plus another 10.00 for tip. My issue here is the hot curl they charged another 25.00 was a hot mess by the time I drove home, the lady who did my hair claimed it was a style of Nicki Minaj, the truth is my entire hair was a hot mess by the time I left the salon, it was not pretty, the curls had all fallen out, I feel so disappointed . It was a rip off. While the lady herself who did my hair had a pleasant attitude. My hair style was not impressive. I will be removing it as quickly as i can.

I love the vibe coming here and I love most of the employees work ! But Charlene … however it’s spelled ! SMH she doesn’t communicate with you with your hair, I came too her before and now I remember why the name rings a bell. She acts like she doesn’t wanna be there to do your hair. I just got my hair done for my birthday and I am going away in a few hours and my hair is SOOOOO MESSED UP! I just wanna take it out and cry ! I get in my car and look at my hair. She has too much hair out around the head ! Like .i look like I have a wig piece sitting in the middle of my head ! You can see my tracks at the top ! As I am trying to check it in the mirror she’s standing there on FaceTime popping her gum, stirring at me and kept talking about food ! No I don’t her to fix it ! I am glad my school taught me about “ hairstylist like this “ everyone else is AMAZING ! Beautiful environment ! Majority has GREAT ENERGY ! Ima try Philly absolutely weave bar next time !

ZEROOO stars. The people here are very unprofessional and not good stylist. Wish I could include a picture to show how bad of a job they do every single time. Tamara and Carline are awful hairstylist. They take complete advantage of my older family member who comes to get her hair done. She gave Tamara a $15 tip out of the kindness of her heart even though her work is not good at all. Then, she told her that she could afford to give her a bigger tip. How rude. She’s been coming for 4 years and everytime her hair is never the way she asked it to be. The last straw was recently when my family member came for a sew-in and then was offered curls by Karline. Karline/carline never mentioned it was additional price. They charged $25 extra and the curls fell out before I even left the shop. When I mentioned for them to fix they said it is what it is. Everytime my family member goes they always charge extra for something else. They charge $5 for a wig cap. But my family member always brings her own but they still charge her $5. I have told my older family member to stop going to them because they are taking advantage of her and she will NOT be back. Do NOT get your hair done here. They are money hungry and always have an attitude. ZERO stars.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Absolute Weave Works is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE..Yesterday, I attempted to get knotless braids with Akeelia and had to wait 35-40 mins after my scheduled time. I kindly asked the receptionist for a discount due to the wait and she granted me $20 off.. When I sat down with Akeelia (the stylist), she didn’t even greet me with a hello or anything.. Her overall attitude toward me was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. Eventually I walked out before she started my hair bc of the terrible service.. I would’ve appreciated an apology for the long wait. And this isn’t the first time I’ve had to wait over 30 mins after my scheduled time at this shop.. Their prices online are also not the same prices in person. Don’t waste your money here!!!!!!! They are extremely unprofessional

Hello. I just wanted to send a message to let you know how disappointed I am in my braids. I came in yesterday (1-21) to get my hair braided. I told my braider I did NOT want big sections of hair for my braids. I do not like braids like that. She sectioned off a part for me and asked me if that size was good. I told her yes. I trusted that she was going to make each single braid section like that but I was very wrong. It is upsetting that I can not trust the braider to do what I asked of them. I’m paying my hard earned money to get my hair done and now I am very unhappy with it. I am attaching a picture so that you can see what I am referring too. The green circled part is the one that she showed me. The ones in the back is 2 to 3 times LARGER. Not to mention I was charged $20 more then what the online price states. I like your shop but sadly I won’t be back.
